Welcome to your Algarve escape in Quinta do Lago, where a private pool, gardens and shared resort facilities set the scene for a relaxing holiday!
This elegant 6-bedroom, 6-bathroom villa is ideal for families and groups, with a manicured Mediterranean garden, private pool plus children’s pool, charcoal BBQ and generous outdoor dining and lounge areas. Picture yourself drifting between sun loungers and shade under the pergola, then heading to the games room for pool or ping‑pong before an al fresco dinner.
Inside, you’ll find six bedrooms spread across three levels: on the ground floor, two king-size en-suites with bathtubs plus a guest WC; upstairs, one twin bedroom and two further king en-suites with bathtubs; in the basement, a twin bedroom with shared shower bathroom, ideal for younger guests. All bedrooms have air conditioning except the basement.
The modern kitchen features an island with central hob, full appliances and an adjoining pantry, flowing into a dining room with extendable table for 12 and views to a striking indoor tropical garden. The spacious living room offers air conditioning, flat-screen TV with English channels and Wi‑Fi, plenty of seating and large windows opening to the terrace with comfortable outdoor furniture for long, relaxed evenings.
Outside, the approximately 9 × 5 m pool (max depth 2.20 m) and shallow round kids’ pool sit amid pines and lush planting, with multiple sun loungers that can be moved between sun and shade. Pool heating is available from April to October with advance notice and an extra fee, subject to suitable temperatures. A wooden deck under a pergola hosts the outdoor dining table for 10+ and the charcoal BBQ, creating a perfect spot for slow lunches and sunset dinners.
Guests also enjoy access to Encosta do Lago’s shared facilities, including communal pool, gym and tennis court, via access cards provided at the villa. Parking in front of the house accommodates two or more cars with ease.

The wifi is truly awful. Works a bit on the ground floor. No wifi anywhere on lower ground and very patchy upstairs. Being in beautiful Portugal isn't about having wifi, but in this day and age it is a necessity to have wifi access throughout a home.see more

A few of the tempur mattresses aren't to our taste and get very hot.

The Villa was not furnished like the pictures in the photos - much less glamorous It was overall dark throughout house the photos / pictures show all bright and shiny - it wasn’t like that and when I opened the front door all I could see was a dirty see more

It smelled musty throughout -perhaps the windows should have been left open to air the place A better equipped kitchen - it had one chair despite picture showing three It had one dish cloth and one drying cloth We were five guests There wasn't even saltpepper / olive oil / milk - I have stayed in many airbnbs and this was always there It was obvious that nobody lives here |

Villa Lira is AMAZING! I stayed here for 4 nights with a big group of friends and we loved it. The rooms are huge with private bathrooms, there is tons of lounge space both inside and outside and we particularly loved the garden, pool, BBQ and cabanasee more

Would highly recommend.
