The Portimão Tourist Tax applies to all guests aged 13 and over staying in tourist establishments* and local accommodation establishments** in the municipality of Portimão, regardless of nationality or residence. The tax is charged per person per night, up to a maximum of seven nights.
HOW MUCH DOES THE TAX COST?
* €1 per person per night up to a maximum of seven consecutive nights/person, from 1 November to 31 March - low season.
* €2 per person per night up to a maximum of seven consecutive nights per person, from 1 April to 31 October - high season.
NOTE: A security deposit of €1,300 is required before check-in - we hold the deposit by bank transfer (on arrival or one day before) and it will be released up to 7 days after check-out. Please make sure you are aware of this refundable security deposit before your arrival. The last thing we want are misunderstandings!
